Tire Technology Conference Presentation – Longitudinal Vibrations studied with HiL

Dr. Yi Li co-authored a presentation for the Tire Technology Conference with Professor Dirk Engel (HAW Hamburg) and Carlo Lugaro (Siemens Digital Industries Software Netherland). The joint project presentation will provide an overview of methods used to study longitudinal vibrations of the drivetrain with emphasis on the tire as the most nonlinear component of the entire system. GCAPS made advancements to develop testing procedures via a inhouse customized HIL system which is based on their Flat-trac LTRe to investigate these self-excited vibrations.
